Segment coupler with USB connection for the top-hat rail

The LCN-SKU segment coupler is a coupling module of the LCN bus system for connecting 2 to 120 LCN segments. It also offers the option of connecting a PC directly to the segment bus and to the local LCN bus via a USB port. The LCN SKU is an intelligent LCN bus module and has a processor with an intermediate buffer that ensures loss-free data transmission. Mounting on a top-hat rail in distribution cabinets is common.

Application areas:

The LCN SKU is used in large systems to link several LCN buses to one another. Each individual LCN bus consists of a maximum of 250 intelligent LCN modules. These LCN modules represent an LCN segment. Up to 120 of these individual LCN segments can be coupled so that up to 30,000 intelligent LCN modules can be used per object. Each module can communicate directly with each other via the segment bus
